The Panther they call King
68King Samir Shabazz is chairman of the New Black Panther Party’s Philadelphia chapter. You have no doubt seen him on the now widely distributed video wherein he is shown standing outside a Philadelphia polling place intimidating would be voters. This is indeed the same man dressed in military attire wielding a baseball bat shouting at all comers that Attorney General Holder ordered the voter intimidation case against him dropped.
But besides this brief snippet, who is this man called King Samir Shabazz? Well he spends most weekdays dressed in his military uniform, black beret atop his dreadlocks, standing outside City Hall condemning “crackers” and exhorting black passers-by to rise up against their slave masters. Ever wonder just what a person like Shabazz wants? Exactly what constitutes freedom in his mind? Just how much more do they demand given to them for nothing before they are satisfied. The fact is men like this will never be satisfied!
Shabazz has been quoted as saying; “on whites, I’m about the total destruction of white people. I hate white people, all of them. I hate every last iota of a cracker, I hate him.” This is the man Holder let walk free. The same man The Southern Poverty Law Center referred to as the most active and tough talking black separatist group leader.
Shabazz also says, “my job is to educate black people, whether they want to be educated or not. I don’t give a damn what they may think about white people. I can’t wait for the day that they’re all dead. I won’t be completely happy until I see our people free and Whitey dead.” You’re right Holder; this man would never intimidate voters!
Continuing on with just a few more pearls of wisdom from this peaceful law abiding citizen; Shabazz or the King says;“when you have 10 brothers in uniform, suited and booted and ready for war, white folks know these niggas ain’t their niggas; we kick white folks asses; we take it right to the cracker.” Now I ask you, who but the most bigoted among us would expect our esteemed Attorney General to prosecute this man?
King Samir Shabazz of the NBPP, shares the opposite side of the race hate coin with the KKK; each just as caustic and virulently racist as the other; both deplorable; both evil. If you denounce the KKK or any racist white supremacist group (as any decent human being should) you should by all rights denounce the NBPP as well. And call them out for what they truly are, and what they stand for, pure unadulterated hate. But for some reason, Attorney General Eric Holder cannot seem to make that distinction!
Mr. Happy your comment is appreciated, but I would add that if ANY man says he feels I should die and that my children should die, the time for understanding is over and I need to load my shotgun! For anyone to simply let this go without stepping in is a crime to humanity!
Whoever says anything like that is either psychotic and in that case they should be taken to a mental institute or it might just be a very angry person who doesn;t know when to shut up because they have crossed the boundary of common decency. The latter person I would talk to, the first I would perhaps take to a hospital. Just an opinion; I have never met a person ever saying anything close to the things you have mentioned that you heard.
Thanks for a very well written and entirely accurate hub. Eric Holder should lose his job over this miscarriage of justice.
November can't come soon enough. The dumbing down of America has come home to bite us and it hurts!
November can't come soon enough. The dumbing down of America has come home to bite us and it hurts!
I think some of these have went over the deep end.
Keep on hubbing!
It just makes me wonder exactly the same thing you wonder, "What does he hope to achieve?" I mean, we stop hate by having hate simply redirected? We make way for one race through the anhilation of the other? To what end? For what purpose?
You are right. It's the flip-side of the racism coin. KKK on the one side. The Black Panthers on the other.
THIS is a guy the justice department sees as no threat?
Well, actually, he does sort of fit right in line with Ayers, Wright, Van Jones, and didn't a White House staffer cite verse from Chairman Mao?
But I digress...
Patriot, I saw him on TV and he is sickening. I can't figure out what he hopes to accomplish except more hate. Your article is terrific and stated the circumstances well. Holder does need to be fired. Surely he is breaking the law.
Mr. Patriot: "an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind". Try to put yourself in the situation of another person sometimes to better understand where they come from and trust me I do not agree with people spewing out nasty, angry, thoughtless garbage like the stuff that was mentioned above. People like that need to be shown guidance in my opinion though, not shotguns. All the best!
I say he should go for it. I welcome the challenge and if he feels whitey is going just sit around and take it, well, lets do it!!

If a black man is upset at me for being white, I think it is my duty to work harder to be understood and accepted. After hundreds of years of oppression it is quite understandable why a black man or a Native man would be angry with the white man.
My European ancestors used the black man as slave and in North America the white man nearly exterminated all the Natives. That was the greatest genocide in the history of humanity. Thus, it is our duty (the white man) to make things better. It is us who messed up to begin with, not them. I shall work harder to build a bridge.
